I am passionate about learner-leader development. What a wonderful opportunity to sew into the student's lives and give them first hand experience leading their fellow students and dealing with all the social dynamics associated with leadership!

Taking group of students aside, for a day, or a weekend, or longer can be a wonderful opportunity for them to grow in character, to get to know themselves better and explore the challenges and blessings of leading other people.

Taking them outside of their comfort zone works best. Creating a cycle of problem-based activities and times of group discussion and self-reflection can be a very transformative experience.
